Blogging About the 2009 Arkansas Book Award Nominees
Welcome Students of Arkansas!
Here we are going to blog about each of the books on the reading list for the Arkansas Book Awards. If you are in grades K-3, you will be reading and blogging about the Arkansas Diamond Books. If you are in grades 4-6, you will be reading and blogging about the Charlie May Simon Books. Choose the link above for your grade level book award list.
Remember that in order to vote later in the spring, you will need to read or have heard at least three books from the list for your grade level.
To blog here what you need to do first is read a book from the list. Then tell your library media specialist. He/she will sign in for you, so you can blog about the book. Just choose your book title from the categories at the right. Then choose comments. In your blog let everyone know what you thought about the book you read. Don’t forget to read what others have had to say about the book you just read and other books on the list.
Have fun! I think you will find some great books to read.
